So all seems well until here, but any criticism is valid when made reasonably so Im vigilant to spot any unfair advantages troops or factions may have ingame. Mercenaries are supposed to be a faster, easier way to rise a decent army at the cost of higher upkeep over time and not being able to fully outmatch faction elite troops. Paladins have a higher Riding skill, which accompanied by their heavier, more bulky horses, allows them to maneuver around the battlefield with equal if not superior mobility.Īll I can ever come to realize with that is that maybe, considering Warmaidens to be mercenaries, they should have at least some steel weaponry to compensate further their lack of skills. Paladins have higher proficiency in every relevant area (10 points over). Paladins have better equipment, including weapons, headgear, and horse, with the exception of slightly less body armor (trading for much better leg armor) and less resilient shields. So, reviewing the stats of Swadian Paladins and Warmaidens (considering women cavalry warriors would mostly come from Swadian lands or at least have some Swadian culture influence) and comparing them both I have come to the conclusion that: Last problem are the face presets, lady isolla of suno and arwa the pearled one have the exactly same face and one of the arena npcs, the one that lets you fight in, was very similiar to my own character. So one question, does it has all the features from the original diplomacy? like marrying a claimant and being able to ransom a lord without having to wait?Īlso i did have a few minor issues with it, i don't know why but whenever i hit a blocking opponent my character got stunned for way too long or how he swinged weapons really slowy, didn't have the same issues on the beginning on native, was there any drastic changes to the way skills and stats work?Īnother issue is the tons of errors, they don't affect gameplay or break the game but are pretty damn annoying, no idea how to fix this, i extracted the mod alongside the hotfix, overwrited the files and then placed it on the modules folder. ![]() Nice, i didn't expect a guy from my own country being the dev of one of the best mount and blade mods. And last but never least, litdum for creating the amazing module Diplomacy 4.litdum witch made possible all my creations and time spent modifying this gem of a mod. ![]() Could never forget to mention LaGrande for all the reasons above and more. Honorable mentions goes to DarkMaster03, lezalit54, JD990, Matt2010, Cephas369, MedicOlkie, bchis17, Colorlessnight, and the many many Guests who were as important as all and I just cant cite every single one. Always keeping the modpage on the tops of the Warband section, and for that you all have my utmost gratitude. All the commenters on the modpage - Thanks! Lots of feedback received, lots of features and such suggestions - some got implemented, some couldn't. Thank you all for reading, and some special thanks to: I hope to bring some followers from this mod version to the next one, and continue to improve the game with the tools and possibilites I got with this amazing community. It was an amazing journey, with ups and downs, but always fun nonetheless. I plan to begging converting some of my modifications, mainly troop trees and claimant's relics, alongside an almost ready-to-release (now postponed of course) change to the leveling progression, intended to emphasize the RPG qualities of Warband - an Unleashed version, per say. You can all disagree on my stance for game balance and what features are good and bad: and for that, the original 4.litdum will always stand as an amazing, polished and feature-rich quality option for you to play. Whoever, I will try to take this as a lesson: to simplify and improve my modifications, and not get caught on "what can" while forgetting "what needs" to be added or changed. Combined with a lot of factors like having little to no time to develop/code/modify the game, the development of Reloaded has come to a halt lately. My vision of the game has changed a lot these past months. Because of this, this module page will become a legacy version while I come to eventually release an updated version of reloaded - after a lot of playtesting 4.litdum that is. ![]() Obviously adapting all the changes requires a lot of time as many will need to be done from the ground up once again. Then, it might also come by no surprise that, considering my modifications have always being based upon the 4.litdum module, I cant continue to develop it on an outdated version. I wholeheartedly recommend you guys check it out. These are some amazing news, and I had some fun time with the module by now. It has come to my attention the unexpected surprise of a new update to Diplomacy 4.litdum mod - found here: - created by the legend litdum himself.
